Delete your account
You can delete everything from inside the app. If you cannot, ask us here and we will do it.

Most of your data was never on our servers
This matters before anything else, because it changes what “delete” means for you.
The lessons you save, your profiles, your children’s ages, your XP and badges, your streak and your quiz history are stored on your device. We do not hold a copy. Deleting the app removes all of it, immediately and permanently, and there is nothing for us to erase afterwards.
If you have never given us an email address, that is your whole answer: uninstall the app and you are done. Only teachers have an account on our servers, because only teachers need one — a code to share with a class has to live somewhere both ends can reach.
In the app
Profile → Settings → Delete account.
The app asks you to confirm, then deletes your teacher account on our servers and everything on the device. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore it for you afterwards — that is what makes it a real deletion rather than a hidden flag.
If you cannot open the app
Use the form at the bottom of this page. Tell us the email address your teacher account uses, and say that you want it deleted. We will delete it and write back to confirm, within 30 days and usually within a few working days.
We ask for the email address because it is the only thing that identifies a teacher account. We have no other way to find it, and we would rather ask you than delete somebody else’s.
What is deleted
- Your teacher account and the email address attached to it
- Your teacher code, and the link between it and every family that added it
- The content you published to your class
- Your entry in the waiting list, if you joined it
What we keep, and why
- Billing records. If you have ever subscribed, French and EU accounting law requires us to keep the invoice for ten years. It contains the transaction, not your lessons. We cannot delete it, and neither can Apple or Google — the purchase belongs to your App Store or Play account, not to us.
- Anonymous, aggregated statistics. Counts that never identified you and cannot be traced back to you after the fact — how many lessons were generated on a given day, for example.
- Server logs, for up to 30 days, then automatically. They hold technical records of requests, not the contents of your library.
Your subscription is separate
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because we do not hold it. Apple and Google do, and only they can stop the billing.
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
- Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions
Cancel there first, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
Your other rights
Deletion is one of several rights you have under the GDPR — you can also ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it. The privacy policy sets out all of them and how to exercise them.
