Privacy policy

In short

We do not sell personal data, and we do not track anyone for advertising purposes — the App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Used to Track You”, and the Android app asks for no advertising identifier at all.

The Android app shows no advertising of any kind. On iPhone and iPad, a banner recommends other independent apps to people without a subscription; it receives no identifier for a person or a device, and it never appears on a child profile. Most of what you create stays on your device.

1. What we collect

What you give us. A display name, an email address (for teachers), the role you choose (teacher, parent or student), age or school year, language, and the educational content you create.

What is collected automatically. Device type, system version, technical identifiers, usage data (features used, session length) and crash reports.

What comes from third parties. Apple or Google Play — whichever store you installed from — sends us subscription transaction information. When you generate content, your request is processed by our AI provider.

2. How we use it

To provide and improve the app, generate the content you ask for, process subscriptions, let a teacher share with their students, track progress, send the notifications you have agreed to, answer support requests, and meet our legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the service:

• OpenRouter — routes your request to the AI model that generates the illustration. We send the text of your request, the subject, the target age and the language; never your name or email address.
• Apple (iPhone and iPad) — subscriptions, payments and iCloud sync.
• Google (Android) — Google Play handles subscriptions and payments. Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers the notifications you have agreed to, and Firebase Crashlytics receives crash reports. Google Play also tells us which link an install came from: that describes the link, never the person, and everyone who followed the same link reports the same thing. If you have Android backup switched on, the system may copy the app’s data to your own Google Drive; that is between you and Google, and we never see it. There is no iCloud on Android.
• Crisp (iPhone and iPad) — the live chat offered to subscribers. It receives your email address and display name when you open a conversation, and nothing at all if you never open one. The Android app has no chat, so it sends Crisp nothing.
• Resend — delivery of teacher verification emails.
• Kickstart Exchange (iPhone and iPad only) — the app-recommendation banner. It is a barter network between independent apps: it matches apps, not people, and receives no name, email address, account, advertising identifier or device identifier. See its privacy notice.
• Kickstart Signal (iPhone, iPad and Mac): the “Share Your Ideas” board, where parents and teachers suggest an idea, vote, comment and read the developer’s replies. It is never offered on a child profile, and the Android app does not have it. It receives what you type and submit (titles, descriptions, comments); an anonymous installation identifier, created on your first vote or submission and never just for browsing; the app’s API key, bundle identifier and SDK version; and, when the service asks for it, an Apple-signed App Transaction that verifies the install. It receives no name, email address, account, subscription status or advertising identifier. Every submission stays private until it has been reviewed and approved, so nothing you write is public before someone has read it. Nothing you do on the board is recorded in our usage data. We also share content with your consent when a teacher shares it, and where the law requires it.

4. Children

We comply with GDPR and COPPA.

• Teachers and parents must be 18 or over.
• A student aged 13 or over can have their own profile.
• A child under 13 can only use the app through a parent account.
• The parent decides whether the child may use AI content generation, and can see their progress.
• We do not collect the email address of a child under 13.
• No advertising is ever shown on a child profile, whether or not the family subscribes. On iPhone and iPad the recommendation banner appears only on a parent or teacher profile without a subscription; the Android app shows no banner to anybody.

5. Retention and security

Account data is kept while the account is active; generated content until you delete it; usage data for at most twelve months. Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), local data is protected by iOS Data Protection on iPhone and iPad and by the app sandbox on Android, and our servers are in Europe.

6. Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction, deletion, portability, and opt out of optional features such as notifications. Write to the contact form.

7. This website

This site is made of static pages. It sets no advertising cookies and uses no third-party trackers. The only data you send is what you type into a waiting-list form: an email address, used only to tell you when the thing you asked about is available, and deleted on request.

Teacher survey. Answers to our survey (monprofaugmente.fr/enquete) are anonymous: they are stored with the language, the country you give and where the visit came from (an advertising campaign, for example), with no name or address. If you leave an email address at the end, it is kept apart from your answers, used only for what you asked for (the results, the news, a Premium code), deleted after 30 days if you do not confirm it, and at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email. These emails are sent by our provider Resend. A fingerprint of your IP address, computed with a secret key, is used only to limit abuse.
