Frequently asked questions
Which iOS version do I need?
The app needs iOS 18 or iPadOS 18. If your device does not offer it in the App Store, it is most likely on an older version; a system update usually resolves it.
How does it work on a Mac?
It is the same purchase: the Mac app comes from the same App Store listing, so you never pay twice. It needs macOS 15, and uses sidebar navigation rather than the iPhone tab bar to make use of the larger screen.
What about Android?
The app is on Google Play. It carries the same illustrated lessons and the same daily quiz as the iPhone version; subscriptions go through Google Play rather than Apple.
Do I have to pay to start?
No. The app is free on all four platforms and stays that way: the daily lesson, the daily quiz and the most recent library need no subscription. A subscription opens the whole library and every school year.
