Live Flute with Electronic Sound

In the picture

  1. A silver flute: a live acoustic instrument making sound in the air.
  2. A microphone on a stand: captures the flute’s live sound.
  3. A mixing desk with a laptop: blends the live sound with recorded or electronically transformed sounds.
  4. A tall loudspeaker: sends the electronic mix into the air.
  5. Curved sound waves: where the live flute sound and the loudspeaker sound meet.
